Mary and Bob will focus on the built and cultural heritage of the island through the lens of the unique and essential qualities of Nantucket, as we face new climate-related challenges in landscape, architectural character and adaptation to change.

Mary is the executive director of the Nantucket Preservation Trust, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Nantucket’s unique architectural heritage and Bob is the founder of the Boston-based firm designLAB architects, a firm focused on projects that use an innovative approach to adaptive reuse combined with environmental sustainability. Bob and Mary both serve as advisors to the Envision Resilience Nantucket Challenge. We hope you can join us!

For each roundtable, we’ll provide coffee and pastries from one of our island’s wonderful coffee shops. Next up is Born and Bread Bakery—we hope you’ll join us!
